Tips For Tiger Sightings and Safari Preparation
How can I see more tigers?
Book 3 to 4 safaris, preferably early morning and late afternoon, when tigers are most active. Listen carefully to your guide—they know the hot spots like Maya’s territory in Kolara. Patience is key; most visitors have a 90% success rate with us.
What should I pack for the safari?
Bring binoculars, a hat, sunscreen, and neutral-colored clothes like greens or browns to blend in. Carry some snacks that don’t have strong smells. Also pack insect repellent and a power bank, as signal can be spotty.
How to take good photos?
Use a wide-angle lens for landscapes and a telephoto lens (300mm or more) for capturing tigers. The best light is during the golden hours—early mornings and late afternoons. Always follow the no-flash rule and avoid drones.
Are there any cultural tips?
Yes. Visit the Moharli Temple before your safari for blessings. Support local communities by buying their crafts ethically.
